The Old Stable Cottage Instructions

CHANGEOVER
In order to allow us to clean cottage and change bedding please arrive after 3pm and leave before 10am on changeover day.

PETS
If you have brought your pet, please do not allow them to jump on the sofas. We have left a throw for you in case this is difficult to administer! In addition there are two blue blankets in the downstairs twin room, which could be used. Dogs are not allowed in bedrooms or on beds. Please poop-a-scoop after your pet, we have left some bags in the kitchen Please ensure that dogs are not left unattended at the property at any time, as this could cause distress to your pet, and damage to the property could be caused. Keep them under control outside, as our chickens are free range, although we try to keep the gates closed so they do not get into cottage patio area and the yard.

NON SMOKING
We operate a no-smoking policy. However, do feel free to smoke in the garden.

BEDS
The upstairs bed is a ‘zip and link’, which can be separated into two beds. Also one side is more firmly sprung than the other.

WOODBURNER
Please feel free to use the woodburner. There is wood to start you off in the cottage and a bag in the middle piggery, more can be supplied. Please ensure the fireguard is always used, and warn children on the dangers.

BED & BREAKFAST
We are in the process of refurbishing our dining room and farmhouse guest room, which will have a double bed,TV and en suite facilities (shower, basin & WC). We will also offer B&B when the cottage is empty (traditional breakfast using free range local products in the farmhouse).
